All our current and future business relationships with our customers are subject to the following terms and conditions. They are recognized by placing an order. The terms and conditions also apply to all future business relationships, even if they are not expressly agreed again. Divergent, contradictory or supplementary general terms and conditions of the contracting party shall not become part of the contract even if Wonderlanguages is aware even if Wonderlanguages does not expressly object to them again.
Consumers within the meaning of the Terms and Conditions are natural persons with whom business relations are entered into, without them being admitted to a commercial or independent professional activity.
Entrepreneurs in the sense of the business conditions are natural or juridical persons or legal partnerships, which are entered into business relation, which act in the exercise of a commercial or independent professional activity.
Customers in terms of the terms and conditions are consumers and entrepreneurs.

The processing of your registration takes place immediately after receipt.
If the chosen course (s) are already booked, we will put you on the waiting list or suggest an alternative course. Of course, we will send you your registration confirmation or your waiting list notification.
Re-registrations of courses
If you have a free capacity, you can, of course, rebook free of charge on a comparable course.
Cancellation of translation and interpreting orders
For translations, transcriptions, layout works, proofreading, the work already carried out will be charged for 100% of the order value in the event of the cancellation of an order by an entrepreneur for reasons beyond the control of Wonderlanguages.
In the event of the cancellation of an order by an entrepreneur for reasons not attributable to Wonderlanguages, the following compensation:
Cancellation up to five days before the agreed date: 50% of the order value
Cancellation up to three days before the agreed date: 75% of the order value
For cancellations at a later date, the full order value will be charged.
One hour of language training equals 45 minutes.

Courses use teaching materials (books, manuscripts), which have to be paid by the participants in addition to the course fees. More details can be found in the course description.
Special Conditions for Individual Training
For individual training, the regulations governing language training apply. Lesson shift is possible up to 24 hours before the lesson starts. If the notification is not given in time, the lesson will be settled.

Furthermore, Wonderlanguages is not liable for the transmission of viruses and damages caused by them, as far as Wonderlanguages regularly has their software and files checked by a corresponding anti-virus program. Wonderlanguages is also not liable for unauthorized access by third parties to data of the customer, which despite appropriate technical precautions could not be warded off
It is strictly forbidden to use or contact these websites in order to disrupt or harm the websites, their content or security measures, or to harass or discredit Wonderlanguages or its products or services or employees. No unsolicited e-mail (spam mail) may be sent to or via these websites.
By placing the order, the customer expressly assures that he is entitled to all authors and/or other rights of use necessary for the processing of the order. Furthermore, with the placing of the order, the customer transfers to Wonderlanguages all necessary rights for the processing to the extent necessary. The customer indemnifies Wonderlanguages against all third-party claims, including any legal costs incurred.
By using these web pages, the user accepts these terms and conditions that govern each use and its consequences.
Wonderlanguages reserves the right to make changes to the websites and their terms and conditions at any time, which will come into effect when the changes are published.
Terms of payment for translations and interpreting orders
The prices are net prices plus applicable VAT. The calculation unit for translations is the standard line.
No discount will be granted unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The entrepreneur undertakes to pay the bill for the work done within 14 days of receipt. After this period, the entrepreneur is in default of payment. The entrepreneur has during the default interest on the debt of eight percent above the base interest rate. Wonderlanguages reserves the right to prove and assert higher damage caused by default to the entrepreneur.
Consumers undertake to pay the invoice amount in advance by bank transfer after receipt of the order confirmation by Wonderlanguages.
The customer has the right to offset only if his counterclaims have been legally established or have been recognized in writing by Wonderlanguages.
The customer can exercise a right of retention only if his counterclaim is based on the same contractual relationship.
In case of late payment, Wonderlanguages reserves the right to interrupt the execution of ongoing work.
Refunds for Language Courses
Registrations are binding and therefore repayments for paid, thus occupied course hours and courses are unfortunately not possible.
If the number of participants is too small, we reserve the right to cancel the course in good time. The exact number of participants is mentioned in the course description.
Retention of Title
For contracts with consumers, the contract products remain the property of Wonderlanguages until full payment of the fees.
In the case of contracts with entrepreneurs, Wonderlanguages retains title to the contractual products until full settlement of all claims arising from an ongoing business relationship.
Wonderlanguages warrants that the Contractual Products are free of defects, including the lack of warranted properties. Special execution requests must already have been indicated in the order letter by the customer and confirmed by Wonderlanguages in writing.
In the case of obvious defects, the customer must notify these two weeks in writing after receiving the goods, otherwise, warranty claims due to obvious defects are excluded. For complaints by merchants, the statutory provisions of the Commercial Code apply.
In the event of a defect notification, the customer has to set a reasonable period for Wonderlanguages, within which Wonderlanguages has the possibility to eliminate the named defect free of charge. If the elimination is omitted, the customer may demand a reduction or withdraw from the contract.
Contracts, Contract Execution, and Termination
Contracts are concluded exclusively with persons of legal age. For minors, the consent of the parent or guardian is required.
Wonderlanguages is not liable for the failure to achieve a certain learning and teaching success. A claim to the instruction by a certain teacher does not exist. A change of teacher may be part of the teaching method and does not entitle the customer to terminate or withdraw from the contract. Individuals have the right to cancel their contract within 14 days. The cancellation period is 14 days from the date of the contract.
In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us in writing (eg a letter sent by post or e-mail) of your termination of the contract. In order to maintain the cancellation period, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
If you revoke your contract, we shall reimburse you for any payments we have received from you without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the date on which we received notice of your revocation of this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same form of payment that you used in the original transaction unless otherwise agreed with you.
If you have requested that the services be commenced during the period of cancellation, you must pay us a reasonable amount equal to the proportion of services already provided by you at the time you inform us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal in respect of this contract Comparison with the total volume of services provided for in the contract.
All order offers are only to be sent in writing by e-mail or by post and only to the address designated by Wonderlanguages.
The translation order must contain information about the area of expertise, design requirements, the name of a contact person of the customer as well as all other information required for the order to be processed properly.
The order will be validly accepted if Wonderlanguages confirms the acceptance to the customer in writing by e-mail or by post.
The customer undertakes to transmit the texts required for processing in typed or printed form. Any other form is excluded.
The customer must attach appropriate reference documents and/or illustrations or plans to technical texts that make it possible to understand the technical texts.
In the case of formal or material difficulties in understanding the necessary basis for processing the order, the customer undertakes to provide Wonderlanguages, with the help of the named contact person, with all information that will allow the order to be processed properly.
Collateral agreements are only effective if confirmed in writing. All contract terminations require the written form. The contract language is German. Written agreements are subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Jurisdiction is Nuremberg.
Applicable Law, Jurisdiction
If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, then the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes concerning the contract with the customer or these general terms and conditions is the headquarters of Wonderlanguages. The same applies if the customer does not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany. Wonderlanguages is also entitled to sue at the customer's location.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies to all business relationships with customers.
Wonderlanguages undertakes to ensure the confidentiality of the information about the customer arising during the business relationship and of the content of provided documents and not to communicate or make available to third parties any such information in any form. The confidentiality resulting from this paragraph is subject to the liability limits in accordance with § 8 of the General Terms and Conditions.
The delivery times provided in the quotation and in the order confirmation are not binding. In case of difficulties in understanding the sent documents, the delivery time is extended by the time required to consult with the contact person and to clarify the difficulties. The delivery date shall be deemed to have been respected if the completed order has been dispatched in such a timely manner that it should have been received by the customer on time, taking into account the usual terms for the respective shipping method. Wonderlanguages is not liable for any delays caused by force majeure or for reasons beyond the control of Wonderlanguages.
Should individual provisions of the contract with the customer, including these General Terms and Conditions, be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The wholly or partially ineffective provision shall be replaced by a provision whose economic success comes as close as possible to the ineffective one.
